Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how DeepSearch, a product of Softmize Infotech LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website and Services. By using DeepSearch, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

This Privacy Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Use.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign up with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile information those providers share with us.

Search activity. We store the search queries you run (names, emails, or locations) and the reports generated from them, so you can access your Saved searches and History. Search activity is never sold or shared with third parties.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. DeepSearch does not store your full card number — Stripe handles and secures all payment card data on our behalf.

Usage and device data. We collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security, analytics, and improving the Service.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the DeepSearch Service
  • Run the searches you request and generate reports
  • Process subscription payments and manage billing
  • Send account-related emails, such as password resets and receipts
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
  • Improve and measure the performance of our Service and marketing

4. Cookies and Analytics

DeepSearch uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We also use Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and understand aggregate visit patterns. Meta Pixel does not receive your search terms, search results, or account details — only anonymised event data such as page views and sign-ups.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to stay signed in or use certain features.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third parties in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers who help us operate the platform, such as Stripe for payments and our cloud hosting and database providers, bound by confidentiality obligations
  • Legal compliance, where required to comply with a valid legal process, protect our rights, or ensure user safety
  • Business transfers, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same privacy commitments described here

6. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account remains active. Search history and saved reports are retained until you delete them individually or delete your account. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights:

  • Access or update your account details from Settings → Profile
  • Delete individual searches from your History or Saved list
  • Delete your account entirely from Settings → Danger Zone
  • Contact us directly at contact@deepsearchai.online for any other request

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws, and will respond to verified requests within the timeframes those laws require.

8. Data About Third Parties

DeepSearch surfaces only information that is already publicly available on the open web and public social platforms — we do not access private records, government databases, or information behind a login. If you are the subject of a search result and believe information about you is inaccurate or you would like it reviewed, contact us at contact@deepsearchai.online and we will investigate.

9. Children’s Privacy

DeepSearch is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. International Data Transfers

DeepSearch may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of DeepSearch after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
