How to Use DeepSearch: A Complete Guide to Finding Anyone Online

January 12, 2026 · 6 min read

Whether you're reconnecting with an old friend, screening a new business contact, or just curious, DeepSearch turns a name, email, or location into a structured report in under a minute. Here's exactly how to use it.

1. Start with what you know

Open DeepSearch and enter whatever identifying detail you have — a full name, an email address, or a location works best. You don't need all three; DeepSearch is built to work from a single starting point and expand outward.

For common names, adding a location or profession in Advanced Search narrows the field significantly. Searching "John Smith" alone returns a broad set of possibilities; "John Smith, Austin, Texas, software engineer" narrows it to one.

2. Let the search run

Once you submit a search, DeepSearch scans public web sources, social platforms, and professional directories in parallel. Most reports are ready in under a minute, and you'll see a live progress indicator while it works.

3. Read the report

Every DeepSearch report opens with a profile card: name, photos, location, profession, and a short summary pulled from public sources. Below that, a Sources bar shows exactly where the information came from — click it to see every source with a link out.

The Social Accounts section lists matched profiles across platforms like Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok, each linking directly to the live profile. "People also ask" surfaces related questions people commonly search alongside this person, useful for background context.

4. Verify before you act

DeepSearch aggregates publicly available information, but names and identities can overlap. Use the "Is this the person you were looking for?" feedback on each report, and cross-check details like photos and social handles before relying on a result for anything important.

5. Save and revisit

Found what you needed? Save the report from the bookmark icon so it stays in your Saved list. Every search you run is also kept in History, so you can pick up a past search without starting over.
